We are delighted to invite you to participate in the Celebrate Cayman Summer Festival! 

We are excited to create this event for you to showcase your talent, and we encourage all participants to get creative and innovative in their contribution to this grand celebration of the Cayman Islands' culture, history, and community. You have the opportunity to be part of this very special event to start our Cayman Islands summer along the beautiful downtown George Town harbourfront.

Space is limited to 15 arts/crafts/specialty items vendors on a first‐come, first‐served basis, so be sure to apply now. The deadline to register is Friday 15 June 2018 at 5:00pm.

  1. Celebrate Cayman Summer Festival will be held on Saturday 23 June 2018 from 4:00pm – Midnight.

  2. The deadline for registration for the Celebrate Cayman Summer Festival is 2:00pm on Friday 15 June 2018.

  3. Celebrate Cayman will send a confirmation notice to email address you have listed on the form with your confirmed vendor space number. If you do not have an email address, we can also print your confirmation letter for you to pick up from our offices, upon request.

  4. Incomplete applications will not guarantee participation.

  5. Payment must be made by cheque or local draft to Cayman Islands Government reference Celebrate Cayman Summer Festival.

  6. Vendors will be provided with a 10ft x 10ft covered space, one 8ft table, two chairs, one black tablecloth, one blank sign, and access to electricity (two outlets, 120 volts). You cannot utilise any space outside your assigned area.

  7. Vendor areas will be assigned in random order.

  8. A certified electrician will conduct random inspections of the electrical outlets to ensure proper vendor use during the Festival. Access to additional electricity (ie more than two outlets or more than 120 voltage) must be requested at the time of application.

  9. To gain access to the Festival, you must attend one of two vendor meetings to be held on Tuesday 19 June and Wednesday 20 June 2018 at the Government Administration Building. You will receive important instructions and collect your package which will include parking passes.

  10. Set up and breakdown are the responsbility of the vendor.

  11. Please arrive on time to set up. Set up is between 12:00pm and 2:00pm. Spaces must be ready by 3:00pm for inspection. At this point, if you have not set up your area, or breached the terms and conditions, your space will be released to neighbouring artists/vendors on a first-come, first-served basis. The Festival opens to the public at 4:00pm and closes at midnight. All vendors must stay until 10:00pm.

  12. Each vendor space will be inspected before the Festival begins and periodically throught the duration of the Festival. Violations to any of the Terms and Conditions, at the discretion of Celebrate Cayman, will result in one warning. In the event of a second violation, no further sales will be permitted and the space will be made available to the neighbouring vendors on a first-come, first-served basis. No compensation will be available to the vendor.

  13. No outside beverages are permitted for sale. Celebrate Cayman is the exclusive beverage seller at the Festival - this includes water, juice, soda, and alcoholic beverages.

  14. Vehicles will only be permitted on the Festival grounds from 12:00pm – 2:00pm. There can be no exceptions.

  15. Vendor vehicles are not permitted to enter or exit through the Festival barriers. The dedicated vendor entrance and exit will be explained at the vendor meetings.

  16. Breakdown of your vendor stall will not be permitted until 10:00pm and vehicles will not be allowed into the Festival site until 11:00pm. Anyone who received special permission to leave early (before 10:00pm) will need to transport their items to the vendor gate.

  17. Vendors are responsible for securing their equipment/personal effects in the event of inclement weather.

  18. Vendors must provide their own insurance.

  19. Vendors should notify Celebrate Cayman of cancellations or changes in participation status no later than 10:00am on Tuesday 19 June.

  20. You are asked to leave your area in the condition it was in when you arrived. Please remove all trash.

  21. If selling, you agree to take full responsibility for all sales and monies made.

  22. You are responsible for the security and safekeeping of your own belongings and monies and agree that Celebrate Cayman is in no way liable for loss or damage to them.

  23. You release and hold harmless Celebrate Cayman and its workers or volunteers, from any injury or loss that you, or any member(s) of your team, may sustain.

Signs can be collected at the vendor meetings on Tuesday 19 June and Wednesday 20 June. If you have choose to decorate a sign (i.e. to name your stall or create a menu), you are responsible for bringing the completed sign to the Festival. Signs are (SIZE) and are free of cost to vendors.
